Emotional Intelligence in Practice
My connection with Emotional Intelligence didn’t start in a classroom or on a course - it started in the real world, working with people, leading teams, and trying to make sense of what helps us to show up at our best. Over the years, EI has become the thread running through everything I do.
In my work, I’ve designed and led leadership programmes that help people understand themselves better and lead with more clarity and confidence. I’ve also created and delivered EIP accreditation programmes, so organisations can build EI into the way they work, not just talk about it. Along the way, I’ve also supported coaches, L&D specialists, and HR teams through one-to-one coaching, introductory sessions, and practical skills workshops.
And personally? EI has been a constant companion. It’s helped me navigate change, handle challenges, and grow into a more grounded, resilient leader - especially in complex environments where clarity and self-awareness matter most.
